welcome. join me on a journey.

I am so excited you have stopped by to read my travel adventures, food experiences, travel tips and more. My goal of this blog is to empower, educate, and expand travel opportunities for single women, helping you follow your dreams, get out of your comfort zone, learn, and change the world while traveling. And make planning your trip fun and easy!

In the current climate of the COVID-19 Pandemic, travel as we know it has been put on hold. Or at least looks very different. So it may seem strange to start a travel blog in a time of limited travel.

I couldn’t think of anything better to do at this time than share the stories of amazing countries and relive my travels. Thanks for joining me as I explore this big amazing world of ours even if it is only online. So let’s Lasso the World.

why “Lasso the World”?

I love Wonder Woman. Check me out in my cute suit from the late 1970’s on the beach in Ocean City, MD. In uncertain times I channel Wonder Woman for my strength.

I love all she stands for - strength, power, truth, justice, and compassion.

The name of this blog is a nod to Wonder Woman and her Golden Lasso of Truth. Join me as I share my journey and the truths that are revealed as I Lasso the World. Travel allows you to see the truths in the world, expand your understanding, and often inspires you to find what truths you want to champion.

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
